Why is Sit and Snuggle right for me and my pet?

I created Sit and Snuggle as a friendly, trustworthy pet service company specializing in the individual care of companion animals young and old, including those with illnesses, hearing or vision loss, arthritis and limited mobility.  It's hard to trust just anyone to care for those you love and I know that your pet is very important to you, so I'm dedicated to providing nothing short of excellent care for your four legged friend.  Giving your pet the love, attention and exercise they need (and deserve!) is my top priority.  Each walk and overnight is customized to you and your pet's needs.  You will feel safe knowing your pet is in good hands.

What towns do your services cover?

Sit and Snuggle is currently available for private dog walks and in-home pet sitting throughout Weston, Waltham and parts of Newton.

How much notice do I need to give if I want Sit and Snuggle to stay with my pet overnight?

Unfortunately, my schedule fills up quickly and I can only pet sit for one client at a time.  So it is best to inquire as soon as possible about dates that you require services.

Do you walk all breeds of dogs?

Sit and Snuggle does not discriminate against any breed of dog!  All breeds are welcome!

Is Sit and Snuggle bonded and insured?

Yes, Sit and Snuggle is fully bonded and insured through Pet Sitter Associates.

I'm worried about my pet's health and safety.  Are you certified in Pet First Aid and CPR?

Yes, I am certified in both Pet First Aid and Pet CPR through PetTech.

Does my dog need to be updated on all of his or her shots?

Yes, all dogs (no matter what services they require) must be up-to-date on all of his or her vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella.  Proof is required before starting services.  If, for some reason, you have chosen not to administer a particular vaccination, please let me know.

What happens during severe weather?

In the event of extreme weather, such as heavy snowfall, heavy thunderstorms, and temperatures above 90º or below 20º, all precautions will be taken to consider the safety of your pet.  In most instances, a quick trip outside for your pet to relieve themselves will be followed by indoor playtime and cuddles for the remaining time allotted for your services.

All non-essential services will be cancelled in the event of weather so severe that it puts the pet care giver in danger while driving.
