Sit and Snuggle specializes in the individualized care for companion animals. For your canine friends in need of a break while you're away all day or at work, private walks consist of leashed walks around your neighborhood or, if time allows, a trip to the local park or forest trail (occasionally with a doggie friend or two, if desired). Constant one-on-one attention provides ample opportunity to learn about, interact with, and care for your pup. Unlike group walks in an off-leash setting, private walks and hikes avoid the risk of a hectic atmosphere, as well as improperly maintained group ratio, health hazards, and any unpredictable behaviors of both your dog and other dogs in the area. Private walks are especially beneficial for dogs that need to take it easy (due to old age, an illness or mobility impairment) or dogs that have a harder time making friends. After each walk, I will either send a text or leave a detailed note of how your dog did. Feeding, fresh water, medication administration and unlimited TLC available at no additional cost.
Free Consultation
During your free 30 minute consultation, I will meet with you and your pet(s) in your home. While becoming acquainted with your four-legged friend, you and I can discuss your pet's individual needs and determine which services best fit your situation. We can also take this time to exchange keys, fill out paperwork and answer any questions you may have.
Private Dog Walking
20 minutes - $25 (plus $10 for each add'l dog)
40 minutes - $30 (plus $10 for each add'l dog)
60 minutes - $35 (plus $10 for each add'l dog)
A $5 fee will be added to weekday walks received after 7:00 p.m. as well as any weekend walks and walks received on major holidays.
Services available in Newton (north of Rt 9), Waltham and Weston.
Discounts available if receiving 5 or more services per week. Discounts also available for foster dogs.
Potty Visit
$20 (plus $10 for each add'l dog)
Just need someone to open the back door so Fido can go do his business and be let back in? Then a 10-15 minute Potty Visit is exactly what you're looking for. Ideal for senior pups who can't walk far and just need some TLC getting in and out of the house.
Services available in Newton (north of Rt 9), Waltham and Weston.
A $5 fee will be added to weekday Potty Visits received after 7:00 p.m. as well as any Potty Visits received on weekends and major holidays.
Discounts available for receiving 5 or more services per week. Discounts also available for foster dogs.
Private Hikes
$45 (plus $10 for each add'l dog)
Need your pooch to get a little extra exercise? Or maybe you just need your pup out of the house during a showing? Does he or she enjoy romping in the woods and sniffing the fresh air? Let me take him or her to the local trails for an on- or off-leash hike! Average minimum of 90 minutes.
A $5 fee will be added to hikes on weekends and major holidays.
